0:00On March 19th, here's the latest out of Durham. Deputies in Edgecomb County are investigating human skeletal remains found along a busy road near Canetaway on Thursday morning. The discovery happened on US-64 alternate route, with investigators responding more than 12 hours before the public report. The scene stayed active all night as they searched for clues. Just earlier this month, a man's body turned up a short distance from the same spot. Those remains belong to Kenneth Earl Wooten from Pine Tops. Jesse Terry now faces first-degree murder charges in that case. Authorities have not linked the two findings, and the probe into the new remains continues.
