New Dining Spots Open in Pell City

Oth of Garden officially opened on Monday, March 9th, right off Veterans Parkway. Longhorn Steakhouse follows close behind, planning to welcome customers on March 16th at a nearby spot on Veterans Drive. Both restaurants come from the same parent company, Darden restaurants based in Orlando. They broke ground almost a year ago, adding to the area's quick casual options. Local leaders see this as a big win for the community. Mayor Bill Pruitt highlighted how these openings show strong growth, fueled by teamwork between the city, developers, and businesses investing. Locally, at Oth of Garden, they're giving back right away. The General Manager announced that we can alcohol sales will fund Pell City's backpack buddies program, which helps provide meals and snacks to kids in need. This builds on recent progress, like Pell City Square that launched in August 2023.
