NCAA Upsets: Top Seeds Falling

About this episode

Duke narrowly avoided a historic upset in the NCAA tournament, but past number sixteen seeds like Fairleigh Dickinson and UMBC have already made history by defeating top-seeded teams. Lehigh, Oral Roberts, and Richmond have also etched their names in NCAA tournament history as fifteen over two winners.

Shifting to 15 over two upsets, they have been a bit more often, but still pack a punch. Princeton edged Arizona this year and reached the sweet 16, while St. Peter's run to the Elite 8 after beating Kentucky, became legendary. Other standouts include Lehigh knocking off Duke in 2012, Oral Roberts outlasting Ohio State in overtime,

1:02and Richmond starting it all back. In 1991 as the very first 15 over two winner. This episode is brought to you in partnership with our sponsor. You know what is better than earbuds in bed? No earbuds at all. S-O-L-I-SoliPillow.com
