NCAA Tournament Bracket Projection: Top Seeds & Bubble Teams

0:00On March 9th, with the regular season done for most major conferences, our latest NCAA tournament bracket projection is out just before the conference. Tournaments begin to mix everything up. The top overall seas go to Arizona, Duke, Florida, and Michigan. All locked in as number one seeds across the four regions. Right behind them on the number two line, sit Houston, Illinois, Michigan State, and Yukon with those teams looking pretty solid too. The three seeded three through six include Iowa State, Nebraska, Purdue, and Virginia at the three spot. One number four is feature Alabama, Arkansas, Gonzaga, and Kansas. Mid-major powers like those could shift with strong tournament runs, and several SEC and Big 12 squads dominate the top half of the bracket. Bubble teams are sweating it out, with Auburn, VCU, Santa Clara, and Southern Methodist as the last four projected to squeak in.
