Nasir Adderley Returns to NFL with Colts

0:00On April 14th, the Indianapolis Colts just signed safety. Nasir Adderley, giving the former charger another shot in the NFL after three years away. He retired at 25, back in 2021, but announced his comeback plans in February. Adderley stepped away to focus on health, family, and building his own businesses, loving the freedom of his own schedule. But he missed the competition, the brotherhood, and just being part of the game that runs deep in his family. Drafted in the second round out of Delaware, by the Chargers in 2019, he suited up for 50 games over four seasons. He snagged three interceptions and powered up 232 tackles before hanging it up. Now a free agent with his rookie deal long expired. Adderley joins a Colts secondary that's been hurting for depth. He might be rusty, but if he taps back into that prior form, he could lock down the back end real quick. Keep an eye on Indy this preseason. Adderley's story shows football's pool never fully fades, and the league might just get a jam back in the mix.
