Muslim ban...on assault weapons

Representative Nabeela Syed is the youngest Democratic member of the Illinois House and discusses her battle for gun reform. She gives us FOMO and nostalgia for our birth state (even Uzma is proud to admit this now), and so much hope, because the legislature was able to pass a law banning military-style assault weapons. Common sense gun control IS possible, y’all!
From her earliest memory of active shooter drills as a young child, Rep. Nabeela knew that it was messed up to deal with guns this way.
