Murdered Man Found in Mackay Home

Police now suspect that 71-year-old Wayne Morseau from Makai in North Queensland was murdered in his own home more than four months before. Anyone reported him missing. He vanished on November 10th, but detectives believe he died sometime after August 27th of last year, with his body left at the property, for a while before being moved elsewhere. Mr. Morseau came from a big local family and had lived in the Griffin Street neighborhood for years, so many folks there would recognize him. Investigators have declared two spots as crime scenes, including his Griffin Street house and another on River Street, and they've already talked to. Several people have interest. The motive remains a mystery, but police are following every lead and urging anyone with information to come forward to help crack the case.
