MSU Spartans Face UConn Without Full Backup Support

Coach Tom Iso shared updates on Divine Ugo Chukwu and Denim Warchick ahead of their East region match-up against Yukon. Ugo Chukwu has been sidelined since early February with a foot injury. Iso made it clear he will not play this weekend, though there is a small chance he can return if the team advances to the final four. These setbacks come at a tough time for the Spartans depth at the position. The team will have to lean on other players while managing Warchick's availability. Warchick is battling a torn labor in his shoulder that needs surgery after the season ends. Fortunately, he can push through the pain for the rest of the tournament run. The Spartans tip off against Yukon on Friday, around 9.45 pm. Eastern Time on CBS, testing their resolve without full backup support.
