Mountain Report for April 3, 2026

0:00morning update 7.50 a.m. Buxau Express is off of conditions hold and set to open right at 8.30 a.m. For the fastest access, if you already have everything you need park in Lazi, F or G, or take the shuttle available at base lodge guest services, morning report 6.57 a.m. Happy Friday sugar loafers. Sorry to come bearing rough news, but all lifts are starting the day on conditions hold. There was icing overnight and all lifts are being evaluated by mechanics and ski patrol. What can safely run? Will run and the mechanics are doing their darnest to make that happen for you all. On the plus side, we are waking up with about two inches of snow up high, not too bad for a Friday. Let's just see if we can get up to it. Wind is in our forecast today and a pretty significant part of it. They are going to be strong throughout the day. Skyline and DRCB are starting the day on wind hold. Mechanics are continuing to check the rest of the lifts now,

1:04while also dealing with the icing. So scroll down for the full list of lifts and their schedules. Temperatures are rising, so the aforementioned snow has turned into more of a wintry mix. We will continue to have some precipitation in the morning, but it should be all done by the afternoon. The sun should peak out to help dry some things off. Temperatures will hover between 32 and 37 at the base and 39 and 42 at the summit. Keep your eyes peeled for some inversions, please. Those are always cool to see when temperatures are flip-flopped like they are today. Groomers were scooting around the hill, getting trails like scoot. They also got King's Landing, Haberner, and more. Scroll down for the full list. The snow we got is going to be pretty wet and heavy, so while it's not that fluffy powder we love so much, it should groom into the base really well tonight.
