Motorcyclist Killed in Leeds Crash

0:00In Birmingham, it's March 6th. Here's what is happening. A tragic crash in Leeds, Alabama has left a 26-year-old motorcycleist dead. Toye Kyle Jackson from Odinville was riding alone when his bike collided with another vehicle, Thursday, around 4.25 pm in the 7,200 block of Elliott Lane. The wreck happened in a sharp curve on the road. Jackson was rushed to UAB hospital, but passed away a short time later. No other injuries were reported from the scene. The other driver pulled over right away and is fully cooperating with authorities. Several witnesses stuck around to speak with officers who responded quickly. Leeds police investigators now suspect Jackson lost control of the motorcycle or crossed into the opposite lane during the turn.
