Motorcycle Crash Kills El Paso Man

0:00A 49-year-old El Paso man named Thomas Joseph Sadler died in a motorcycle crash after slamming into the back of a pickup truck. It happened just before 10.45 a.m. on March 31st at the Busy Montana Avenue and Walnut Street intersection in the central area. The truck driver, a 63-year-old local named John Paul Gabel, was heading down Walnut and made a left turn onto Montana going west. Sadler was riding his 2018 BMW motorcycle the same way on Montana when the truck cut him off. Sadler tried to swear right to dodge it, but he still hit the rear of the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado. He got thrown from the bike and suffered critical injuries before passing away at the hospital. Police Special Traffic Investigations Unit is still digging into what went down.
