Two people landed in the hospital after a nasty motorcycle crash on Route 15 Southbound in Wallingford Thursday. One rider's dealing with life-threatening injuries from the wreck near Exit 58A. It all went down just before 4.30pm when a 2002 Yamaha hit some kind of tire failure. The bike flipped on its side and ejected both guys onto the road. The passenger, a 50-year-old man from Harford, took the worst of it with serious wounds. The driver, a 38-year-old from Bridgeport, got away with what looks like minor injuries. Both ended up a Yale New Haven hospital by ambulance. Stay police are still piecing together exactly what happened. They're calling on anyone with dashcam video from the area to reach out to Trooper Patrick Mico at 203-393-420. Zero or his email? Crashes like this hit hard so eyes open on those highways.
