I can't read what my handwriting says. Oh, we're going to find out who crap their pants on TV. But right now it's time for this. Now let's go around the sports. Can't eat for tweets as all the sports. Yeah.
02So there's a, you know, whispers going around that the Cowboys might be interested in trading for Max Crosby. We talked about this yesterday. But one thing that I would like to say is there's an article that written by Michael Silver. He's a pretty good writer and he wrote an article about what's been really bad for Max Crosby and the Raiders outside of the fact that the Raiders have sucked his entire career. And he's been awesome. Yep. He's been there for seven years. He said five different head coaches for have been fired when was the interim guy. So this is a couple of things that have caused problems here. Max Crosby is one of those. He'd be probably annoying to hang out with. He probably wants to go lift weights. He's like competitive. Non-stop. He just like, he's kind of does the Rudy bit. It's that he's actually a grown man. Right? It's like he's practiced his hard to the point like he gets a little too close to the quarterback sometimes. He's shown Lee basically. He's what you're showing. Yeah. He's just like, dude, not we're here to do a job here.
04Uh, I would ask him, Witten was like, you know, things like that. But things fell apart in December because the GM was like, Hey, we're shutting you down because we are taking. Okay. I'm going to say that out loud, but that's what they're doing. And he's like, no, I want to play. And he's been hurt too. He's like, I want to play. He's a little stubborn, right? He storms out of the team facility. He's missed. Okay. So last year, I'm just going to take you back to last year at the combine. There are about five or six teams who were talking to the Raiders about trying to trade from Max Crosby. This year, it was like 12 to 15 teams. Wow. And the Cowboys are definitely one of them. I think it's probably closer to 10. And by I was going a little foreign circle, be prepared to overpay. The Raiders are looking for a package similar to the one the Cowboys got for Micah. Yeah. Okay. Two first rounders. See you later Max Crosby. You don't have to sign him. You know, he's, he's got a deal one year left or two. I think four. What? Maybe three. Yeah. My, my God. And he's wildly underpaid based on the market and he's wildly or paid because he was signed before.
08Yeah, he won't hit me or understood it for the agent until 2030. That's amazing. Now he made, you know, demand money and all that stuff. Now that could be a part of the trade negotiations. Who knows what's going to happen there. But part of this article that got interesting is when it starts on about the Raiders. Max Crosby has not made a stink about this publicly. Now he didn't leave the facility and that was reported. But publicly he is not because he thinks Raiders fans are cool. He thinks they're dope and he's like, I'm not going to do that. I don't want to be a Raider thing. Is it Raider fans that are living Las Vegas or that live in the Bay? That's what's tough because he also in his seven years there with five head coaches. They moved. They also moved. Yeah. So he's tried to be the face of this thing and stay there. And then when they asked him to not play the last two games last year, he was rubbed the wrong way. He was like by that like prostate exam doctor. He showed footage of himself in his home basketball court dunking. Yeah. Yeah. Like he's like, I'm fine. I can. Oh my God. I like like he's like, he's like, he's being a boom. So we've always I can dunk how much Tom Brady is involved in the Raiders.
10We know he's a minority owner. Right. How much say does he have? This is the first time I've read this much about it. I read about this in the athletic today. Okay. That's why I'm getting it. Yeah. Yeah. So Mark Davis seated power to Tom Brady. It says in the article, like many players and coaches, Max Crosby was frustrated by the presence of Alex Guerrero. Here we go. The wellness coordinator. Alex Groves, the guy who runs TB 12 and the guy who built a check famously locked out of Foxboro Stadium. Yeah. Brady's bringing him around. Brady's got him then there. He's got a job there. I mean, while Brady's off in Florida, living his life playing golf, Brady has like the most say. And he's not around because he can't according to this article. Yeah, because he can't be. Yeah. Because he makes $35 million a year to do Fox games. He makes more than Max Crosby. It says Guerrero regularly attends practices and meetings and has significant organizational power. Informing players of impending transactions and even indicating to staff members who don't follow his instructions
11that their jobs may be at risk. Oh, Guerrero has the direct pipeline to Brady who was in Florida. So there's trust issues there. I just thought that was crazy. I did not know all that about Tom Brady. I did not. I assumed he was not as involved as people were saying. And there's I don't know why everybody is assuming you could just get him for the number 12 pick. It seems like that's out there a lot, which if they want such a massive return, that's obviously the 12 picks not going to get it by itself. The one thing about that, though, been that I would say, and I agree with you. But you know, usually when you trade for a first round pick, if you're trading for Max Crosby, you're probably a team that's going to get it end up with the 25th pick or something, right? Yeah. And so if you just trade for a future pick, you don't really know what it's going to be day. Do they have the first pick in this draft? The Raiders? Yeah. Yeah. So having the first pick in the 12 pick, that's a good way to jumpstart your thing. I honestly think another thing that makes sense is to trade them pickings because their young
12quarterback needs a stable receiver. As much as I love pickings, I'm not trying to be the fun police. It'd be great to have pickings and CD. You had them and you still won seven games last year. You got to fix your defense. And if you have a $60 million quarterback, isn't there the assumption that you can make your receivers better? Like you don't need, you know, $65 million dollars and two receivers, because you're a $60 million quarterback. How much can you get to fund digs for? I don't think people want him. Okay. But you could add reputation right now in the way of what you could get a number two receiver for a fraction of what you'll have to get one at number 20. Pick 20. Right. I said that draft pick. But your defense has so many holes. No, for sure. The team building here is odd. You have two, you potentially two $35 million dollars receivers. You have three $20 million dollars defensive tackles. And you don't have any pass rush and you don't have a secondary and you don't have linebackers. Would you trade pickings in the 20 for Crosby? No. Okay. I think you I was asking around and I was told you could get a
16probably a third round pick for pickings. Maybe a second, but you could that's all you're going to get for him. But it is a deep draft. You could probably get a badass starting safety in the third round. Definitely in the second. Is that is that help you more than pickings? I like Malie Cooker. I feel like we're good. I think the bears are going to get Max Crosby just calling that. Yeah. Where are you? Where are you calling it? I'm just thinking it's going to happen. Who are you calling? Yeah. Are you telling people that? I don't know. Yeah. Yep. All right. There you have it. There's a little Max Crosby talk. Coming up next, it's part two of the entertainment headlines we're going to take us this time, KT. Well, someone crashed her pants on TV last night. Hey, it's Cole Swindell. After I give everything I've got to land a perfect vocal, I usually take five before jumping into the next track. And I've learned exactly how to recharge in that time. Some folks grab coffee.
