The Baltimore Ravens, and I know Celo's going to have audio coming up in just a little while of their jam talking about the way things kind of shook down, but this reminds me whether it was his fault or not with this whole Max Crosby situation. It reminds me of Kastanza from Seinfeld quitting, because he really wanted out of Vegas and kind of pushed his way out, which is why and what kind of started the trade situation. It reminds me of Kastanza quitting. And then showing up a few days later, I'm back, baby, and I never left. It's a very, very odd situation, and then you look at all the money the Raiders, you know, basically spent in free agency. I think they can fit him if he stays, but that's going to be a weird spot to be walking back in that building today. No? Yeah, it's weird, because I think as you mentioned earlier, last week he was saying his goodbyes, and it seemed like he was ready to close the chapter and walk into a new one in Baltimore.

3:06I'm still scratching my head how we got here, and how did the Baltimore Ravens land? Tray Hendrix, because you got to understand this, Jerry, he's a 31-year-old edge rusher, right, who was limited seven games due to a core injury, who, by the way, isn't the best run defender, right? Like, so, and then you let go of Max Crosby, who's younger at 29, who's a better run defender, and who we don't know the severity of the knee, right? But this is what I do know. The man has played over 6,000 snaps in his career. If this knee was an issue, was willing to finish out the season, right? You get, we forget the Raiders had to put them on the bench, because the man wanted to play. So, I think the knee wasn't as bad as we, you know, think, but we also aren't doctors, and we didn't check out any MRIs. But, nevertheless, man, we do know whatever the recovery time was,

4:08you know, he was going to, because of his makeup and his character, he was going to put all his chips into that, and he was going to be ready to go and be ready for week one for the Baltimore Ravens. Now, I think the Ravens looked at this roster, and they realized, one, they lost Lyndon Baum, who they expected to give them a hometown discount, didn't happen, he goes to the Raiders. Two, people forget, they paid Nikola, not Nikola, Matt of Bequest, excuse me, they started the defensive tackle, a lot of money. He may be retiring because he's dealing with a neck injury, right? And they don't know what's the state of his future. And they lost Kyle Van Noy to a free injury, they lost likely, they lost their big-time full back to the Giants, and their coach, and their coach, right? So, I've, and plus, the caveat to it all, with all those deficiencies, they lost those two first round picks because of Max Crosby. So, every, the cost of never say it, but this, he had cold, he had cold feet. He was like, oh, we can't do this.

5:10They chose the medical situation as an out, because I think they realized with the current roster, even with Max Crosby, they weren't going to be competitive to possibly land into the playoffs, or win the division, right? They think about, they don't have a number one receiver. They flowers, technically, they're number one receiver. So, they need a lot of pieces. They need more help. And even with the roster, they had going into this year. There was a belief that with the roster, they had this year, they could win a Super Bowl. Obviously, that didn't happen. And so, I think Eric, the cost said, whoa, we got to rethink this thing. And if you're Max Crosby, you know, I don't know if this is a blessing in the skies, but I do know the Raiders have done a good job thus far, of putting veteran pieces on that defense, that can stabilize that defense. And so, if you're Max Crosby, you know, there's just a matter of, you know, there was talks about him having some issues with the front office. You now have to go back and out building and make right

6:10with some people you've probably rode off. No doubt. And I think you're right when you talk about the GM having cold feet. To me, it feels like you wake up the next day and you say, I gave a great player, but I gave up how much? And we got to pay him. Oh, by the way, and he's not making the veteran minimum. And then you've got a guy like Hendrixson out there and you're right. They are not the same player. It's interesting. When you look at the sack situation, Hendrixson may have a few more in that category over the last five, six years, but every other statistical category, Max Crosby dwarfs him in. I mean, it's amazing how much better of an all-around player Crosby is, but they are getting a guy who can get to the quarterback in Hendrixson. So that does fill a need. But they also paid him a lot of money too. It's not like, I don't know, to me, the money he got is what I would expect a Crosby to get. And I knew Hendrixson again can rush the path. Like somebody, he's like, man, he's going to get you a couple of sacks. He's always going to be the guy that pops off the tape from a pass from a stand point. But against the run, I've seen him be exposed. So, and if you're, if you paid attention to this Ravens defense last year,

10:16they were, they were bad on the back end. That's why Malik Willis got paid. Go back to that game against Ravens and Green Bay. Like the Baltimore race weren't even good against the pass. It's solely because they didn't have a pass rusher, right? And they didn't have nobody can get home and attack the quarterback. Now you got Tray Hendrix. He's a boost, but you still need more. And there's still holes on the interior of that defensive line and offensive line. And I think Eric DeCosta said, man, we, we got too much going on right now to let those picks go away. On top of, we got attack free, free industry differently right now. All right, so with that said, if you're the Raiders, obviously with the Ravens, we're going to give you was a pretty good haul. Are you holding out for something similar? Do you take a lesser package? Or do you kind of bite your tongue and you go shake hands, you hug each other and say, all right, you're back. And if things aren't going well, we'll discuss this again at the trade deadline. What's interesting. I think so a couple of teams I thought was going to be now that this is all trans, uh, transspired. Dallas, I thought would be chopping at the bit. But suppose, supposedly Dallas is,

11:16they've said they've kind of, they're going to move forward. Rashon Gary out of green bands, saying that they're going to set sales and continue to do what they do. And for agency, I don't know. Maybe you grew up me, uh, if I'm the Eagles, this is your chance. Uh, you have nine draft picks. You've revamped this defense. You have a really good defensive corner, uh, defensive coordinator and Vic Fangio. You need a closer, right? You need somebody in the fourth quarter to show up and go get the quarter. I know you hated Jerry. I'm probably dead at your mouth. I know what that you talk about. Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, Max Crosby, Jahid Campbell, I mean, Bronn, Cooper DeGene, Quentin. Like this would make a legit, like this, this changes the trajectory of the Philadelphia Eagles. If Howie Roseman, who, by the way, this is the time of year he shows up. Like this is Howie time. Like he does a damn good draft and he does a damn good job by getting his guy in free agency. So, um, if I'm Howie Roseman right now,

No, no, now they can talk about that in Philly. I don't want to talk that into existence because the, the, the beauty of what Philly is doing or not doing this offseason is, they're not doing much and they're losing players and it does feel like the giants have gained some traction. And I know I don't want to see Max Crosby. Which one team I wasn't expecting you to say? Well, Jerry, because thinking about Buffalo just signed Bradley Chubb, right? So, they're probably not going to go after Max Crosby. The Cowboys have, once again, have said they're going to set sales and move forward with Sean Gary. It's really the bears in my eyes and the Eagles. It's bears and Eagles. Which one is ready to put up? And if you're the Eagles, think about that. This also gives, I don't know how you work this day out. This is me, obviously we say here talking hypothetically. But this gives you a window to, to ship AJ Brown
