Moore's Journey: Notre Dame vs Vanderbilt

0:00On March 26, Iyana Moore transferred from Vanderbilt to Notre Dame after four strong seasons and earning her degree. Now in her final year of eligibility, she's helping the sixth-seated fighting Irish with a 24- and 10-record face her former team, the 29- and four comedors and the sweet 16 on March 27 at 1.30pm Central Time and Fort Worth. Moore has kept up her scoring at around 12 points per game while boosting her rebounds and three-point shooting. She now teams up with StarGuard Hannah Hadago, the nation's third leading scorer at over 25 points a game and a two-time ACC player of the year. Both players arrived at Vanderbilt together in the 2021 class and stuck around to help rebuild the program, leading to NCAA Tournament, runs in the last two years. Moore and teammate Sasha Washington grew especially close despite their different styles, sharing plenty of playing time and all freshman honors early.
