Montreal Building Collapses After Fire

0:00A two-story building in downtown Montreal came crashing down Monday afternoon, right after a fierce fire tore through it. The blaze kicked off around 1pm at the corner of St. Laurent Boulevard and Milton Street, sending flames and heavy smoke everywhere. Dozens of firefighters rushed in to fight the fire, which quickly turned intense videos online, captured the whole structure getting swallowed by. Flames before it collapsed onto the sidewalk by 3pm. The collapse shut down traffic and streets in a wide perimeter from Ontario to St. Dominique and Prince Arthur to St. Urbain. Smoke mess with air quality too, and one officer said the area would stay closed for at least two or three hours. Fire crews stuck around the scene believed to be an abandoned spot while police directed questions their way.
