Modest Mouse Headlines Alaska State Fair 2026

0:00It's March 10th, here's your Anchorage News in two minutes. Indy Rock Band Modest Mouse will headline at the 2026 Alaska State Fair. The fair made the announcement earlier this week, adding the group to their main stage lineup. Formed in Issaquah, Washington, and now based in Portland, Oregon, the band broke out in 1997 with their acclaimed debut album. They gained even more fans with their 2004 release, which went multi-platinum and included the big hit, Flood On. To show us that for 7pm on Friday, August 28th, tickets go on sale Friday at 10am through the Alaska State Fair website. Modest Mouse is the 6th act confirmed, joining AJR, CAKE, MAXMENT NOWN, Twisted Sister, and Big X The Plug for a Diverse Bill.
