Model's Brutal Halloween Murder Trial

0:00On April 2, a 36-year-old male model named Luke Harden was killed in a brutal street attack right after a Halloween party in Lancashire. Last November 1st, the assault happened just after midnight outside a working men's club in Staxdeds where paramedics tried CPR on the pavement, but he died at the scene. Now 26-year-old Becky Sanimata Biswana from Zimbabwe faces murder charges at Preston Crown Court. Prosecutors say the attack lasted about one minute with Mata Biswana allegedly knocking Harden down and stomping on his head, possibly over Harden. Getting too close to Mata Biswana's girlfriend, Harden was drunk and maybe on ketamine or cocaine, leaving him unable to fight back. Mata Biswana tried to flee the country, but got stopped at Manchester Airport two days later. Harden's family shared a heartbreaking statement, saying they're devastated but comforted by the love pouring in for their son, brother and friend. They called him gorgeous and promised he'd always be in their hearts with that smiling face.
