The Gritty Big Man thanked Wildcats fans on social media after entering the portal on April 6th, wrapping up his one year in Lexington. He started at Alabama for two seasons under Nate Oates, putting up 7.2 points and 5.9 rebounds as a sophomore. That portal moved lead him to Mark Pope squad at Kentucky, where he stepped up big time. At Kentucky, Dubey averaged 8.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, one block and one steal, and just 21.6 minutes per. Game across 31 appearances with 10 starts. He had 11 games and double figures, including 220 plus point nights and a couple double doubles, shining brightest with 14 points and 12 boards against Indiana, and 17 points with 3 blocks over Santa Clara in the tournament.
