Missouri Tigers March Madness: Back-to-Back Bids

0:00On March 15, Missouri Tigers are heading to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year. They grabbed the number 10 seed and will face the number 7 seed Miami Hurricanes in the first round right here in St. Louis. The team earned their spot with a 2011 overall record and 10 and 8 in the southeastern conference. They stumbled a bit lately, dropping their last two regular season games and falling to Kentucky 78-72 in the conference. Tournament. Coach Dennis Gates is now making his fourth March madness appearance as a head coach, and is third in just four years with Missouri. He's the first to pull off back-to-back at large bids since Frank Hafe in 2013. Several players like seniors, Sean Phillips Jr., Kevin Porter, and Jaden Stone, plus freshman Nicholas Randall and Aaron Rowe will suit up in the big dance for the very first time.
