Miles College Launches AI Program for Birmingham Students

0:00On March 6, here's the latest out of Birmingham. Miles College in Alabama is launching a program to give up to 750 high school students in the Birmingham area early access to. Artificial intelligence tools and job training. The private historically black college is teaming up with study fetch and Nvidia backed by a grant from UNCF to build skills for the modern workforce. This multi-year pilot uses study fetch's platform which turns class materials into notes, quizzes, and round-the-clock AI tutors. Students will also get hands-on workforce prep through Nvidia's Academy content starting years before they finish high school. Leaders say the effort closes gaps for underserved communities where many grads lack tech skills for emerging jobs. Miles President Bobby Knight calls it a smart pipeline from high school to college and careers in a global economy. Earlier this week, the team demoed the tech at Parker High School in Birmingham, the first stop on a school tour. Study fetch CEO Isan Durani praised it as a model for educators and industry
