That quiet spell stretched to eight straight days with no recorded arrivals all the way to March 31st. The home office updates their seven day tracker daily and whether often causes these dips, especially cooler months when seas get rough. Folks jumped on the post, hailing it as proof, Starmer's taking back control, but history tells a different story. Since tracking started in 2018, there have been 84 stretches of seven or more days without arrivals, including a massive 100, 36 days back in 2018. Just a day later, on April 1st, over 325 people showed up on small boats. Last year saw 41,472 total arrivals, the second highest ever, and this year already 4,700.
