0:00From the Fairbanks Museum in St. John'sbury, this is the eye and the sky weather update. Today will be the pick of the weekend, so take advantage of this calm before the storm. Temperatures stay mild as an approaching system pulls warm air into New England. We may even see some sunshine before the storm moves in. Few scattered showers are possible in western Vermont later in the day, but the main event will hold off until this evening before spreading east and setting us up for a rainy Easter Sunday. Now for the forecast details, this afternoon mixed cloud cover with the chance of showers late in the afternoon in the west, highs will be in the 50s to 60s. Tonight rain showers spread east with lows in the 30s and 40s and strong gusty winds. On Sunday, steady rain showers with highs in the 50s. I'm meteorologist Megan Duncan with an eye on the sky.
