The Miami dolphins are staring down a massive financial mess in 2026.

For the first time ever, the NFL salary cap will top $300 million, but Miami is on the

hook for $182 million.

Dollars in Dead Money That's cash tied up for players no longer

on the roster, eating up more than 60% of their cap space and setting a league record.

Two general manager John Eric Sullivan kicked off the league gear on March 11th by signaling

a full roster reset.

They cut Tyree Kill for $28 million dead hit, dumped to a toggle Veloah with a whopping

$99 million charge and traded.

Reactions around the league have been stunned, with analysts calling it unprecedented.
