The New York Met's trim their spring training roster after Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. They optioned right-hander Austin Warren to triple A Syracuse and reassign pitchers Kevin Herbert and Robert Stock to minor league camp. Warren, a 30-year-old on the 40-man roster joined the Met's off-wavers last year. He pitched in five games, giving up just one run over nine and one-third innings with nine strikeouts. Herbert, 34, and Stock 36 both returned on minor league deals late last year. Herbert appeared in six games for the Met's, while Stock had a solid 3.92 ERA over 85 innings and triple A for Boston's. Affiliate, these moves bring the big league camp down to 39 players with only three games left, including a split squad matchup on Saturday.
