Men from Alabama Charged with Child Exploitation

0:00On March 2nd, here's the latest out of Birmingham, two men from Jefferson County, Alabama, now face serious federal charges for sexual exploitation of children. A grand jury handed down indictments against a 35-year-old from Birmingham and a 46-year-old from Hueytown, according to the Department of Justice. Steven Rochie Powell, who also goes by Cham G, faces a two-count indictment for sex trafficking of children and attempted sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion. These charges against Powell stem from incidents between October 2nd, 2025 and October 29th, 2025, all in. Jefferson County, meanwhile, Adam Joseph Higgler of Hueytown, is charged in a separate two-count indictment with possession and distribution of child pornography.
