Math Teacher Arrested in Child Exploitation Sting

0:00On March 3rd, here's the latest out of Tampa Bay, Hillsboro County deputies wrapped up a major undercover sting targeting child exploitation, leading to 89 arrests in over 1,000. 200 felony charges, the operation focused on people trying to buy sex from what they thought were minors. It ran from January 1st through February 6th, with detectives posing online as underage victims. Suspect showed up at arranged spots, only to get busted by the human trafficking. And Internet Predator Units. Among those nabbed was 41-year-old Stephen Fabick, a math teacher at Hillsboro High School. He had chatted with who he believed was a teen, offering a ride home for sex. Fabick now faces serious charges, including sending explicit messages to a minor, using computers to solicit illegal acts, traveling to meet after. Those chats and lured battery.
