0:00It's April 6th, Europe news today starts now, AI-powered and pan-European. I'm Corey with the story. Firefighters are tackling a huge blaze at a recycling site on Clooney Road in County Dairy. Around 51 of them are on the scene, fighting flames ripping through 700 to 800 tons of scrap metal. The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service rolled out six fire appliances to get it under control. It's a tough one, with all that metal fueling the fire. All folks nearby are feeling the heat from thick smoke in the air. Officials are telling everyone to shut their windows and doors tight to stay safe inside. Crews are still pouring water on it, working non-stop to knock down the flames. No word yet on when they'll have it fully out. Keep an eye on updates from the fire service, and stay clear if you're in the area. Better safe than sorry.
