How long has it been since you talked to him? It's been four days. Our date was three days. Four days and you're saying you're going to ghost it already? Yeah, are you sure? I feel like if you don't follow-up the day after a date, they're never going to text you. Oh. I mean, usually a dead date you do get the follow-up. Yeah.

3:02But what if he's just busy? Things just gotten a little crazy. I don't know. I think four days is a little bit too long to leave someone. I did follow-up with him after. So let's not get a response. Yeah, okay. Yeah, all right. So tell us about the date. It was amazing. Like, honestly, too good to be true for the first date, maybe. We went to this cozy little candlelit restaurant. It was so cute. One of those cozy booths where you, there's no way to not touch. So our knees are touching. We're drinking wine. We're sharing apps. I think we both. I know. It felt so romantic. So it's calm. Which I think is odd for a first date. You don't always feel so steady. You feel nervous. But there was just this calmness about the whole night.

4:02No, like, worry about eye contact. We just felt so connected. It felt safe, honestly. And yeah, we're sharing food. And I think we both kind of acknowledged that this could be something. We kissed at the end of the night. And it was just sweet. It wasn't rushed or forced. No awkward, like, well, it won't be. It just, it also felt right. What could the problem be then? I mean, that does sound great. And especially if you guys are feeling safe and comfortable, that it's not easy to come by. So what could have happened? The only thing that I can think of. And I think that this would be a silly reason not to text me back. But she said that he was going to be snowboarding the next day. So he needed to leave at 11.

5:02Stop. We were having so much fun. And at 11. I don't know. I was just feeling kind of silly. So I kind of put my hand on my head. Like, if you go home right now, you're never going to see me again. And it works. Like, he stayed for like a bit longer. He ended up leaving at midnight. So I'm like, not too late. But he just said goodbye. And he said that he would call. The next day, I texted him and I was just like, I can't wait to hear about all the events. They're like, have fun snowboarding. And that was four days ago. And I got on my head. Okay. Maybe he's like on a boys trip. Like a boys trip. There's no boarding adventure. But did he tell you he's going on a boys trip? Or was it just like a day? Well, I assumed it was for the weekend. And he has a full-time job. So I said three out of the four days. Okay.

But before we do that, Mari, why don't you break down your date with Evan again for us real quick? So I went on the first date with Evan. It was really calm, quiet, romantic, intimate, so sweet. 8:02This is funny. I'm not ghosting anybody. I dislocated my shoulder snowboarding recently. Oh, no. Okay. So you're not ghosting Mari? Yeah. I mean, no. I dislocated my shoulder and wiped out pretty bad. I've been healing, but she emailed you guys saying I've been ghosting her for four days. Yeah. So you've just been healing up because you're your shoulder. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it was a pretty bad accident. I'm sorry about your accident, but she did text you. Yeah. She did. But I've been healing from an injury for four days. I don't know. I haven't even responded to my mom, you know. Okay. All right. Well, did you like her? Well, can you handle that right now? You've been healing for four days. Well, yeah. I like her, but this is kind of feeling weird. Yeah. Feeling like a little ganged up on. And, um, yeah. Okay. This is, you know, I think four days is a long time.

10:03Okay, you guys are laughing at me too. Well, that means just, you know, you, you sound like you're very awkward about this situation. You don't want her to come over and help you? No, would you want someone to come over after first day? While you're liking the worst situation in life? Like, I don't look good. I probably haven't showered. Not gonna lie. Like, I mean, if you're hurting, I want to be there to help you. That's what happens in a relationship. I can, I don't care. You and I don't want to talk about that. We're not safe. You're, you're really sweet, but we're not in a relationship. And I feel weird talking about this on the radio. We're not strangers. I know that, but that's where we're hiding, isn't it? Like, you could have sent me another text and I could have probably gotten like, you know, through like the cloud of this of being on meds. Probably been like up front and been like, hey, maybe in a couple weeks. Like, honestly, I don't think I'm ready to go on a date for a really long time. I'm not in a good place right now.

11:03Like, I'm in pain. I'm on meds. I'm not myself. Don't take it personally. But maybe not do this to the next person. I think you need to maybe wait. I can just come over. Like, I don't need a lot. Oh, no. Not thank you. I make a really good chicken noodle soup. And my dad was an accident when I was a kid. I know how to take care of people. Uh-huh.
