March Wrap-up and April Stuffs

0:00Hey what's up guys it's ZeroFriar. This is the ZeroFriar podcast and first we'll start out by saying Happy Birthday to my little girl. It's 12 years old today. I love you very much. I'm very proud of you. She's a very smart, fun, enthusiastic, creative, curious, and beautiful little girl. She's not so little anymore. That's the problem. That's the thing I'm having a problem with. But you know, life goes on. The world keeps turning. I had a huge weekend. Well not a weekend. So this is the weekend coming up. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. My wife and my daughter had doctor's appointments yesterday. And it was such a big day. I got more done yesterday than I think I'd get done at work on a normal day. So I took my wife, dropped them off at the doctor, got my

1:02son his ID and his first bank account. I mean my kids they're growing up right in front of me. I don't know what I'm going to do about this. So yeah, he got his ID. Oh my gosh sky. He's driving so slow. His first bank account, we're teaching him about signature. You know how to how to write your signature? All this stuff, man. And yeah, just proud dad mode. Sorry, I had to work some stuff. This guy's driving 40 miles an hour in the highway and I was stuck in the lane. So yeah, he's growing up. He's also making me very proud. And I picked my wife up. She's like, hey, your chest still hurt. I forgot about it. You

2:04know I always have some chest pains. Mainly I thought that my muscles were sore or I didn't know what was going on. I think I was just having like some problems because of my mattress. I talked about that, which is really boring at all. But like so apparently sometime within the last three months, I fractured my sternum like that bone in the middle of your chest. That's why I had been having back pain or not back pain with chest pains. That's why I had so much discomfort. That's why I was sore all the time. Apparently I fractured my sternum, which is kind of a big deal. And I was just like, you know, rolling with it and living my day-to-day life like, oh, I guess I'm kind of sore. Yeah, I guess so. So, you know, they're laughing at me about that. So yeah, it's kind of a big deal. I mean, it's like in hindsight because it's already passed,

3:05but I'm just like, holy crap, that's a big deal. So another, so then we come home. We're doing our errands and stuff. We come home. And my daughters have built this fort out of sticks and they put, you know, a pine evergreen branches over it made like a rooftop and everything. They modeled there as fort after ER from, from a Winnie the Pooh. And so I'm out there, you know, getting my stuff out of the car and my daughter starts screaming. It's a snake. It's a snake. It's a snake. It's a rat. My son comes over. It's a rattlesnake. So the kids are screaming that it's a rattlesnake. And I don't really know what a rattlesnake looks like. I just see a snake with his head raised and he's waving his tail. And I can't really like hear anything. But I'm also like, isn't this kind of like an adrenaline filled situation because everybody's screaming and they're panicking and

4:08everything. So I'm just like, okay, it's a snake. It's a pretty decently sized snake. It's pretty big. It's in the girls play area. I can't have that. So I just open fire on the snake. And I headshot the snake, which I don't know how well you aim. But when I first started shooting a pistol, I hated pistols because they're so hard to aim. Compliments to the 1911 Charles Daily, because that is a precise shot to headshot something that's the size of the bullet you're using. Well, a little bigger. It's not that small. But yeah, no, snakes are very, the snake's head is not very big. And that's how you know if it's a rattlesnake, apparently like venomous snakes have bigger heads because they're glands are full of poison. So now I know, now that someone bothered to explain it to me, I've never bothered to look that up. I didn't go to Boy Scouts or anything. But it was like everybody was screaming and then they were going,

5:11you know, what are you going to do with a snake? And then like, so when I take action, then they're like, oh, not that snake. No, you know, so whatever dude, it's gone. It's done. It's over with a shot to snake. So I'm not going to lie. I'm kind of proud of myself. That's a pretty, pretty good shot. Now, granted, it wasn't the first or second or even the third shot. It took me a few tries, but I got it. And I got it out of my girl's play area. So there's all that stuff. I'm also working on my, my NAS that I reported about that. I didn't get to work on it on my day off, but we're getting closer with that. And then I did post a picture of that, that brisket, which it was a brisket. And also don't try to grill a brisket. That's a bad idea. So I'm going to slow roast that thing later this week and get what I'm supposed to get out of it. Okay. So yeah, six, six or seven minutes, six minutes and that's a long list of

6:20this jointed things happening in my life that are all kind of a big deal. So what's going on with me creatively is, I think I told you guys, I'm stepping away from political commentary, unless there's something I absolutely need to say or chime in on. And that's just not the case right now in terms of like deep dives or whatever. I feel like the media is intentionally missing the point about what's going on in Iran because they have Trump Durangement Syndrome. And I feel like a lot of the other people are misunderstanding what's going on in Japan in Iran because they're looking at it like in times prophecy. Like, you know, the dispensation is view. So I don't think any of the things that you're hearing from Mike Huckabee or from Tucker Carlson or from MSNBC and CNN and all these people,

7:32these figureheads and mouthpieces, I don't think that they are correct, not just not telling the truth. I think they're just flat out wrong. And I just don't care to get into it with people. There's other stuff going on in the world stage. And it's not, it's not these narratives that we're being fed. Now, there are a few more, like one of the big things that's been going on since last year, since around the time that Charlie Kirk got killed was, you know, Trump is taking orders from BB Metanet Nahoo from Israel. Because why? You know, they never say that part. Oh, because what? Because they found something in the Epstein files. Like, if the Democrats had something on Trump in the Epstein files, they would have used it against him in, what, in 2014, when they were trying to get rid of him before he became president. So that's not it. They don't have any, like, there's,

8:38there's, they don't have a reason. They're just say things, you know, Candice Owens, Nick Fontez, all these people that are better funded and probably a little better spoken than I am at time. Well, and maybe that in the case of Candice Owens because she can't pronounce a word to save her life. But they're not correct. And they're just, they don't have a reason. They don't have a real reason. They just say things. And it's not that they're stupid. I think, I just think that they're wrong. The people who think Israel run America. Yeah, I think that's stupid. But the other people, yeah, it's not. So it's not something that I can really justify spending a lot of energy jumping in the arena and trying to contest with these people when there are one better outfits that are doing so, like a Promethean, what is it called? Promethean something is a good one. Obviously, the knowledge into show always seems to do a good job. There's some good people out there. But if you, if you are spending your time listening to fear

9:42mongers, then that's what you want to hear. You know, you would rather be scared. Like, I remember when I was listening to Glenn Beck, because he had a guy doing his research from the CIA. They were doing deep dives. It was good stuff. But I got sick of this freaking hair on fire routine every other couple weeks. You know, when he's got a new book come out. So we all got to be nervous and anxiety driven ridden about stuff. I don't like that. I don't like it in politics. I don't like it in religion. And I don't like it in my social circles. So that's what I'm trying to cut away and strip away. And I filled a lot of that time with gaming on retro devices, handheld, retro handheld devices. But also because I'm getting into that, there's a lot of hacking involved. And maybe, maybe you're of the philosophy that if you're using a guide or if you're using some sort

10:43of like a walk through that it's not hacking because I guess it's pre hacked. And that's fair. But that's kind of where I'm at. I'm doing a lot of hacking. I'm doing a lot of reinstalling operating system and changing firmware and, you know, a lot of that kind of stuff as I build my, that's what got me in the building a nest. So there's a lot of a lot of that going on. And it's plenty for me to fill my time up with, you know, like I think I'm doing more hacking and software editing and stuff than I am actually playing the games to my wife's sugar in. I'm, she doesn't, she's not crazy about that. But yeah, that's, that's where I'm at. Now, I don't know if this is my turn or not. Hang on. No, it's not my turn because it usually has two lanes. Okay, so. So that's what I've been filling a lot of my time up with hacking stuff. I'm really interested in the things that I'm learning. So I'll try to keep you guys posted on that

11:47stuff. And creatively, I'm also working on my comic. I think I told you guys that already. I had the thumbnails sketched out for the entire chapter three of the last day comic. I'm going to start ordering the pages this Monday. I think Monday, I will order the first page or first two pages depending on what my finances allow. And you guys will get the finished product in the next issue of Apocalypse First Magazine. So right now we have issue number three. I'm going to be putting up the digital version for purchase and we'll also have the digital version on Apocalypse First Substack for subscribers. 12:49artists, comic books, essays, articles, things like that. Pros. And I'm reaching out to people because I want us to have a platform to do that kind of thing. And I like to give them out. So we'll print out those magazines, we'll pass them out. And it's just something I like to do. If I'm going to put out comic books and I remember wrestling with this concept early on. And I realized it cost 1,500, 2,000, sometimes $3,000 to create a comic depending on if you do full coloring and stuff. I just do black and white. I don't do all that. And I realized how much it costs to print. And I said, you know, if I'm going to go through this, I'm not going to just be putting out magazine or comic books. And I want to get a little more bang for my buck. So that's justified my shift to magazines. And in my experience doing that, I realized a lot of things about

13:53printing and publishing that I could be doing. I'm leaving a lot of options on the table. And so I'm working on getting together the next issue of the last day. If I'm funding it myself, I'm going to do it at my own pace. I think we already have a basic tear, but you know, people can message me all if they want. I'll make that available. I'm also planning on pulling my book series the last day off of Amazon and then reworking something. So redoing the release, I want to rewrite with bonus chapters with images. I found out that I can put images in my book. So I want to do that for certain moments. I want to have, I want to flesh out a couple things in chapters or things that I felt like I didn't do a great job explaining or writing out. And then re-release each story the way it I think that it should have been

16:02released originally. Like when I first started releasing my books, I didn't know what I was doing. Now I'm sitting on like, you know, five books and two comics and I got all this, you know, this work and this lore. And so I want to make sure that it's released properly. And so that's what I'm going to do this year. I have a April to April schedule. So with Apocalypse Diverse issue number three coming out for April, just in time for Easter. And if you want to get your copy before Easter, this is a good time to do it. And I'll be trying to push for that a little more.
