02We're four days away from the final four. Speaking of which, coming up at the top of the hour here in just over 10 minutes, we're going to talk to our guy Rob Doster, co-founder of the field of 68. But before we do that, let's do a little March multiple choice here. We've been doing this once or so a week all the way in the lead up to the tournament and throughout the tournament. So a couple of really good questions here to get you set for the final four. Let's get producer Brandon Combs back into the mix here to delegate this another March multiple choice exam. Combs, what's going on? What do you got for us? All right, boys. Of the final four teams, which school has the best value play to win the national championship? Is it a Yukon at plus 550? B Illinois at plus 475? C Arizona at plus 180? Or D Michigan at plus 165? Brad? I, L, L. You know, there's only one answer here. It's got to be B at plus 475. I think Illinois is going to be Yukon in the rematch revenge game up from earlier this season.
08Again, the team constructs are entirely different, especially for Illinois. Compared to that first match, I've only got a wolf by 13 points inside Madison Square Gardens. I think Illinois is going to advance to an actual title game. Now they could lose to Arizona or Michigan, Michigan. They suffered their worst defeat this season. And that was in champagne by 14 late in the campaign. That was in late February. But you look at Illinois, a team that's rocking a road right now with Keaton Bogler. A team with a country in nearly five to one odds. Coach Matt McCall was on to you better. You bet it earlier today and said, Illinois could cut down the dance and win the whole thing. That shouldn't shock a soul, including this guy. Illinois be the correct answer at plus 475. I'm going to go with A. I'll go with Yukon. You know, no disrespect. Brad, you're I L L. But look, I know you're confident Illinois wins, but I mean, look at Yukon can absolutely win the game. And they got the best odds on the board, the highest odds on the board.
10And I say that at the expense of a point I made yesterday. And Brad, let me know if you you'll probably disagree. As I'm sure that you're confident that your boys, the align I can win the title. But I feel like Arizona, Michigan is like the de facto national championship game. So at the expense. Yeah, the expense is saying that I mean, the odds just aren't good. It's a pick them game between those two teams. So you need them to win that. And then you need them to win as probably, I don't know what you can either side. There'll probably be a five point favorite give or take. So I just don't know. I think you're. Yeah, I think you're better off just picking whoever you think is going to win the title between Arizona, Michigan. And then if you get it right, you pick them again in the championship. You know, maybe to cover because I don't think it'll be too big of a number. So for me, we're talking about value Yukon more than five to one. Huskies, they beat Illinois. And again, there'll be an underdog of probably half that size against either Arizona or Michigan.
10Not a lot of people gave a chance to beat Duke. They did that. We all saw the pock marks of Yukon going into the tournament. But they have, you know, they've, they've evolutionized here. They've rejuvenated themselves. So I think Yukon just terms of value. I like the Huskies. They're the best value on the board. Yeah, I think it's Yukon as well. Just because I, I think that, that win against Duke and in the manner in which they want it might propel them all the way to a title. And this is a team that, that, I mean, especially with a coach in Dan Hurley that has that pedigree. So I could see Yukon, Yukon at plus 550 would be a play for me. All right. The greatest game clinching buzzer beating shot and NCAA history belongs to who? Is it a Tias Edney end to end layup to beat Mizzou in 92 Christian Layton or shot to sink Yukon in 90. Braylon Mullins 35 foot three to house Duke this year. Chris Jenkins title winning jumper in 2016 versus Villanova or four Villanova, I should say.
11And Valpo's Bryce Drew dagger to upset Ole Miss in 98. Pat. It's simple buzzer beater to win the national championship. And maybe you have a little recency bias here outside of Braylon Mullins this past Sunday. It's the most recent one. I'll go to Chris Jenkins, the title winner. I just, I'll never forget watching that live and just be a complete sheer disbelief at it. So that for me, D Chris Jenkins title winning jumper in 2016. Yeah, it's all about the gravity of the situation. I mean, everybody's going to remember Christian Layton or that's replayed every single year. A lot of old hats that would definitely say B is the correct answer. But I'm with you, man. I think it's he is Chris Jenkins it won the title. I remember Charles Barkley's reaction unbelievable unforgettable moment. And we are all feeling exactly what Charles Barkley was in that moment. So yes, D Chris Jenkins national title winning jumper gets North Carolina 2016 for the win. For me, it'll always be Christian Layton.
11There's just so much fun to watch. So I have Christian Layton. All right, quickly, quick answer among this year's final four participants, which team features the most formidable front court Arizona Michigan Illinois, Yukon Brad. It's Arizona with Mount Crevice, Kurt Schinkoff and a walk. Again, I think they have the best starting five down in my back. Or with that front court undervalued under appreciated a. I'll go Michigan, Lendaborg and Mara to NBA players in this draft coming up here. It will take a short break when we come back with Charlotte Rob Duster right here on, Betham GM tonight.
