He faces felony charges for stealing the vehicle and fleeing from officers plus a misdemeanor for hit and run property damage. The trouble started Wednesday morning when Ashbro Police spotted the stolen ambulance from Randolph Health on White Oak Street. Randolph County deputies jumped into help as Morgan sped away and crossed into Moore County, ignoring all attempts to pull over. The pursuit came to a dramatic stop at Moore Regional Hospital, where the ambulance plowed right into the entrance sign. Luckily, no injuries were reported, but the crash costs cleared damage to the property and disrupted the area briefly. Officers took Morgan into custody on the spot without further issues. He was booked into the Randolph County Detention Center and held on a $15,000 secured bond. Police say the case is straightforward now, with Morgan awaiting his next court date
