Man Sought for Stealing Pride Flag from Leicester Salon

The flag was taken from the Seeker Garden in Claren't in Park, which caused itself the city's first openly gay business. This happened on Sunday, February 22nd, marking the fifth time the flag has been targeted. The salon first put up an LGBTQ plus flag back in 2023, and they faced repeated hate crimes ever since. Officers are fed up, saying these attacks have to end now. Local residents and business owners have rallied around the salon, highlighting rising tensions around pride symbols in the area. The incidents have sparked concern about safety for LGBTQ plus spaces in the community. Lester Sharer Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak with.
