Man Sentenced for Stalking, Rape, and Strangulation

0:00On April 9th, a man named Jacqueline Webster just got hit with nine years and five months behind bars for rape, strangulation, and stalking a woman. In Manchester, he showed up in Manchester Crown Court on April 8th, 2026, after pleading guilty to the stalking charge earlier and getting convicted, by a jury on the rest. The trouble kicked off in June 2024 when Webster accused his victim of cheating with her ex-boyfriend. Turns out, he'd been faking messages as the ex to test her loyalty, and when she tried to bounce from their flat, he blocked the doors. He climbed on top of her, strangled her hard, and went on to rape her. Her ex had tipped her off about the impersonation, sparking the whole mess, but Webster trapped her anyway in a nightmare she couldn't escape. Even out on bail, he kept the pressure on by snapping up fake social media profiles to track and message her, plus her family and friends. We're talking over a hundred accounts hitting her page in seconds, straight up violating his no-contact orders.
