Sawway emitted to six counts of reckless property damage that endangered lives affecting multiple houses on the block. Joanne Waterfall, his ex, walked away with just one outfit and no insurance, starting from scratch with thousands and losses. Neighbors dealt heavy hits too. One family lost a home passed down four generations. Other saw cars and savings go up in smoke, leaving some in, council housing. In court, the judge called the effects devastating on the whole community, noting Sawway's own serious burns that put him in a coma.
