On April 1, a 34-year-old man from Nottingham has pleaded not guilty to murdering a 24-year-old shot in his own neighborhood back, in February. The victim, I am Quail Tainton, got hit by a gunshot at a house on Ryland Gardens in the Meadows, right after 530 GMT on February 28. Paramedics rushed in, but he passed away soon after. Jack Preston entered his plea during a video court hearing from prison this week at Nottingham Crown Court. He just confirmed his name, said he could hear everything and deny the charge while wearing a simple white tea and green jacket. Tainton's family called him there, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend, to tons of people, a truly loving and caring guy who's lost hits hard. Preston's got a pre-trial review set for July 10, with the full three-week trial kicking off August 24. The case keeps moving forward as everyone awaits more answers.
