Man on Trial for Drug Robbery Murder

The incident happened on August 16th, 2023, at a home where Kirk was staying with his partner, Tammy Antal. Peckham and another man, David Fitten, allegedly broke in looking for drugs, leading to a violent clash that ended with Kirk stabbed and bleeding out. Tammy Antal took the stand this week and tearfully described watching Peckham stab Kirk twice. She said Peckham then tossed him a towel, told him to use it to stop the bleeding, apologized, and instructed Fitten to call an ambulance before, running off. Emergency crews arrived quickly, but couldn't save Kirk, who died from his wounds. The prosecution argues Peckham planned the robbery with Fitten and either landed the fatal stab or meant to cause serious harm.
