Man Missing After Swimming at Werri Beach

0:00Sydney's story is making news on March 15th. A search is underway for a man in his 20s, who went missing while swimming off the new South Wales South Coast at Wari Beach. Police officers, water police crews, ambulance paramedics, and surf-life saving teams are all at the scene helping with the effort. A helicopter has also been brought in to cover more ground from the air. Wari Beach gets patrols from surf-life saving crews on weekends and public holidays to keep swimmers safe. This incident comes just days after a married couple from the United Kingdom drowned at nearby Shell Harbor Beach South about 20 kilometers to the North.
