Man in Critical Condition After M66 Crash

0:00On April 16th, a man in his fifties is fighting for his life in hospital after his van slammed into the central barrier on the M-66 motorway. The crash went down around 5-10 pm on Wednesday, April 15th, between Junction 1 and Wormersley Road in Barry, and the A-56 near Ram's bottom. Police in paramedics rushed to the scene and shut down the road in both directions. They're saying the driver likely had a medical episode behind the wheel of a Citruan dispatch, which caused him to lose control. That closure backed up traffic for up to an hour, but crews cleared everything by around 8-20 pm. Police are now calling on anyone with dash cam, CCTV, or phone footage from right before the crash to step up. Could be key to piecing this together.
