Man Faces Court Over Donaldson Murder

0:00On March 30th, a man in his late 40s is heading to court in Dublin today over the investigation into the murder of Dennis Donaldson. Back in 2006, Donaldson got shot dead in County Donagall just months after he came clean about working as a secret agent for police and MI5 for over 20 years. That revelation shook things up big time in Northern Ireland's trouble past and in 2009, the real IRA took credit for the hit. Here this week, Irish police nabbed the suspect after pulling him from Scotland on a European arrest warrant. With help from specialist units and even the Air Corps, they got him back quick and he set to face the special criminal court this afternoon as the cold case heats up again.
