A 26-year-old man from California drowned in the Colorado River near Davis Camp this past Sunday. Christopher and Nathaniel Logan, from San Marcos, jumped into the water around 1115am to grab a hat and never came back up. He was on a pontoon boat when the hat blew off and without a life jacket, things went wrong fast. Rescue crews rushed to the scene but couldn't save him. The Bullhead City Fire Department dive team pulled his body from the river and he was pronounced dead right there. Folks are heartbroken over the loss of this young guy. Investigators ruled it an accident with no foul play involved just a tragic split second choice. Authorities are reminding everyone to always wear life jackets on the water. Stay safe out there, especially on rivers like that. Simple gear can make all the difference. From your city, powered by AI, this is Tampa Bay News Today.
