Man Dies in Chilton County Crash

0:00The latest headlines, weather, and stories right here on Birmingham News today. A 63-year-old man from plantersville died in a single vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Chilton County. Stay troopers identified him as Donald R. Wright. The accident happened around 4.35 pm on March 17th. Wright was behind the wheel of a 2024 Ford F-150 pickup truck. The truck veered off the road, clipped the mailbox and collided with a tree. It was the only vehicle involved. Wright was declared dead right there at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
