Man Denies 20-Year Drugging, Assault Allegations

0:00On March 20th, a man in his 60s from Stockport appeared in court alongside 12 other men, all denying involvement in a horrific case of alleged, drugging and assaults against his wife over 20 years. The husband faces 48 charges, including multiple counts of rape, assault by penetration, sexual assault, and conspiracies to commit those. X, plus sharing intimate images without consent. He pleaded not guilty earlier, while one man in his 50s admitted to his four related charges at the same time. Six other defendants also entered not guilty pleas back then, to similar conspiracy counts. All allegations center on the same woman, with the men ranging in age from 28 to 73. This week, three more men pleaded not guilty to their charges, like conspiracies to rape and assaults, though two others weren't asked to enter pleas. Yet, five defendants received bail, but seven, including the husband, remained in custody. Officials have set another hearing for June, with a full trial starting in September,
