On March 2nd, a 25-year-old man named Suleiman Ngu died after a stabbing in West Hamstead last month. The attack happened shortly before 4.30 pm. On January 29th, on Alvin Lee Gardens, a quiet residential street near Finchley Road, and Fragnell Station. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and passed away eight days later on February 9th when life support ended. Police quickly arrested a 21-year-old local man, Dylan Gann, from nearby Lithos Road, on suspicion of attempted murder the next day while Suleiman was still fighting for his life. Gann faced initial charges for attempted murder on February 1st, but those were upgraded to murder after Suleiman's death. He also picked up charges for carrying a knife in public, having an offensive weapon at home and possessing a class B drug.
