On April 1st, a 36-year-old man from Derby faces serious charges after a car plowed into pedestrians Saturday night, injuring seven people in. The city. Sandhu Panachan, who lives in the Alvastin area, got hit with dangerous driving, six counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, one count of, attempted grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article. The victims include four men and three women between 36 and 52-years-old, with four already out of the hospital, according to Derby Shire Police. Cops Nab Panachan just seven minutes after the crash, and he showed up stone-faced in southern Derby Shire magistrates court on Wednesday only, confirming his details before getting remanded. Nobel requests came up in that quick five-minute hearing, so he's locked up until Derby Crown Court on the 29th of April as the investigation rolls on.
