Man Arrested for Knife Attack Over Money

A 42-year-old Nash County man faces serious charges after allegedly attacking someone with a knife during a fight over money. Bobby Ray Wooten Jr. was arrested Thursday on assault with a deadly weapon-inflicting serious injury. Police got the call around 6.55 pm near Embassy Avenue and King George Avenue in Nashville. Officers arrived to find the victim hurt from the altercation. The injured person had wounds bad enough to need medical help right away. No word yet on their condition, but the dispute reportedly started over cash. Investigators gathered enough evidence at the scene to make the arrest without delay. Wooten did not resist.
