Man Arrested for Arson, Sword in Florida Preserve

Early Thursday morning, he was spotted walking along the road with a lit teaky torch, lighting up spots in the Preserve as he headed toward the highway. Before that, Lentz had been causing trouble downtown, attempting to pour gasoline on some vehicles and even dousing a motorcycle outside a bar with. Witnesses quickly called it in and deputies tracked him down inside the Preserve where he was armed with that burning torch and what looked like, a, samurai sword. After a short standoff, he surrendered without a fight. Fire crews from Martin County put out the flames fast, keeping damage to a minimum with no injuries reported. Lentz now faces charges for reckless burning of land, criminal mischief over $1,000 and resisting without violence. Florida still don't know his motive or why he carried that sword, but the quick response kept things from getting worse.
