Malachi Chapter 2 Part 6

We are back in Malachi chapter 2, and again, as I said yesterday, I am looking at a couple of things that I realize will be very offensive to many people listening, but it doesn't bother me that you are offended.

1:00They bother God that you are offended because great peace have they with love that law and nothing shall offend them. That's Psalm 119, 165. So I don't want you to be offended. I want you to take heed to what the Bible says. You see, we are today with this modern revival movement, and they say that many, many of our youth today are seeking some type of religious experience, and they are finding it. But what I found is that the religious experience I had is not the religious experience I want. But the religious experience I had was the new birth, and it's been made manifest these last 29 years in the inward parts that, indeed, what was made manifest is a work of God inwardly on the inside of me, not manifest in my flesh, manifest in my soul, in my spirit, inwardly God has revealed Himself to me by His spirit and by the Word of God. Those two connected, and by the way, His spirit now bears witness with my spirit. Let's me know that I'm a son of God.

2:01Let's me know I'm His child. I don't need to go to a clergy member and say, hey, prop me up. I don't know if I'm saved or not. I don't need somebody to tell me, hey, you got saved. That experience you experience, where you close your eyes and swayed back and forth and kind of went into a trance that, I'm going to call that God and tell you you're saved. No, I have the Word of God to authenticate salvation in the inward parts, and that's all that I need. Bless it. Be the name of the Lord. I need that inwardly. I'm going to start right left off yesterday, again, not deliberately offended, but knowing this as an offense. Verse 14, a Malachi too, yet you say wherefore, because the Lord has been witness between the and the wife of thy youth. Assume thou hast dealt treacherously, yet as she thy companion and the wife of thy covenant, he speak into Judah, he speak into Israel, he speak into Jerusalem. What is he speaking of? Well, one of those things I look at again is the life of David. He went into a woman who was not his wife.

3:01He went into Bathsheba in doing so God had a problem with David in the matter of Bathsheba. Because of Yeraya, the Hittite, who was married to her and then David, after he commits adultery, goes and retires him in the hottest part of the battle, then he dies. Sends for her, bracer unto him, makes her his wife, and my friend David committed adultery as the king in Israel. One of the great sins, but you know, David repented. David clearly found repentance when he said, wash me throughly from my niquity and cleanse me from my sin. And here's the problem, for I acknowledge my transgressions and my sin is ever before me. David knew what transgressions were. He knew his sin was ever before him, and the book of Romans clearly defines these things in Romans chapter 6. The understanding, what shall we say then shall we continue in sin that grace may abound.

4:02No, David had to repent. He could not continue in that sin. He could not abound to David. Why? David committed adultery. There is no sacrifice for adultery in the Old Testament. David committed murder, and I know there's a great debate about that, but he sent a man to die. What else would it be? He didn't slay himself. He sent him to die as the king. And yet David found repentance in that matter, and said, if it went to God, and with repentance came through this, crying out to God for mercy, asking God to forgive him, to wash him, to cleanse him, he did not continue with sin, God forbid. What is this modern movement doing today? It is leaving people in sin. It is leaving homes where people are not married and bearing children. And they do not marry. And yet that's against scripture. It's called fornication. It's created adultery. Even churches today, a pastor, a someone in position of the church can commit adultery,

5:03another. And it's all just kind of swept away like, well, this is just part of the Christian walk with life, as long as he gives some kind of penance before the church. And there are men to send a pulpit all across this nation today, that while in ministry left their wife, the wife left them, they just remarried casually, always blame it the other person, never accepting the responsibility, and they continue in sin, saying, well, grace abounds. God has forgiven me. You need to forgive me. It's not that I'm not willing to forgive, because I don't have ought with them. They didn't take my wife. A man goes out, commits adultery, listen, I don't, there's nothing between me and him. He didn't come look at my wife and try to steal my wife. He didn't come and try to take that to belong to me. I don't have ought with him. I don't need to forgive him. But I'll tell you what, he better go to God with that. He better make sure this great God of heaven, he's found forgiveness of sins with him because of his adultery. He says, then, in verse 2, God forbid. How sure that we that are dead to sin, living in longer, they're in. No, you're not. There's so many of us who were baptized into Jesus Christ, who were baptized into his

6:06death. That's why Jesus Christ being the first born from the dead. What's death? The second death. Not just the cross, who's first born from the dead. It wasn't just bodily, Lazarus had already resurrected, that young man, when he touched the lice, his bones, he had already resurrected. There are others in the scripture. Jerry, his daughter had already resurrected. So Jesus Christ first born from the dead, it's time he died the second death. We're baptized into his death. We're baptized in Christ. Nevertheless, I live yet not. I have a Chrysler with me. The life that I now live in the flesh, I live in the faith of the Son of God who loved me gave himself for me. Why? I've been crucified with Christ. I've died with Christ. I've resurrected with Christ. Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death. Like that his Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk an unison of life. So again, he tells us the understanding of dealing with sin. That's what's missing today is dealing with sin. Nobody wants to talk about sin in this modern movement, but they dealt treacherously. He said this, she's comparing you to the wife of that cover yet did he not make one?

7:09Did God not make them one flesh? But what happens? Judas God found the wife of another God. And he's coming. He's yoked up with other gods. He's taken a wife, this profaned Judah, profaned Israel, profaned Jerusalem because he's joined himself to an harlot that is not of God. Yet the Bible says, did God not make them one? Yes, God made them one. And who's put them a sunder? Man put them a sunder. The lust of the flesh put them a sunder. And yet he had the residue of the spirit and wherefore one, question mark, what a great question. Had the residue of the spirit and therefore one, is there not a God in heaven to deal with? Is there not a God in heaven to show him that you've been one and you've gone out and you've committed fornication? You've gone out committed adultery with the gods of this world and left your first love. Is that not evidence enough, Judah? Then he said this in verse 15, the last half of the verse, that he might seek a godly seed. That's the problem with Judah. The failure is not seeking a godly seed.

8:11He took a seed that was not of Israel. He took a seed that was not of the people of Israel. He took an ungodly seed to himself. He tried to raise up a woman of the Gentile nations. He tries to raise up a seed of ungodly nations, Belpior, and the worshipers thereof, that's why God has a problem with him. Therefore take heed to your spirit and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. Unless you also be found in this matter. You know, when it goes back to that matter, listen, I know much has said about divorce and remarriage. But the Bible says you don't deal treacherously with the wife of your youth. What is it? If you love someone, what is it? You can't love about them. You say you love your wife and get your hold off with her. You say you love your husband, yet you can't forgive, you can't be spirit-filled, you can't walk into spirit, you can't just love him unconditionally. That's not real love. You see, I personally, perfect love cast without fear. And if you really love someone, you're not going to fear about the future.

9:12So many people fear what's going to happen to us, what's going to take place. And so many people live in that valley where they just in that place, they say, I love my spouse, but the evidence they don't love their spouse, one, is they can't tolerate their spouse, two, they don't want to talk to their spouse because they don't love them. And thirdly, the greatest of all is they say, well, I'm going to have to go find another spouse because this one here has been terrible to me. That's what Judah's saying. He's dealt treacherously with that wife. He's just like Esau. He's not concerned with the seed, which is to become Jesus Christ through Judah. He is not concerned at all with that holy seed, which is the Lamb of God, the Son of God. All he's concerned about is his own lust, all he's concerned about. And by the way, that is the modern movement. Again, I'm called the modern revival movement. It's not about the holy seed. It's never been about the holy seed. It's about going through and making leagues with Bale Pior. It's sensual. It's sexual. It's perverse. It feels good in the flesh, but it does not equate to a holy seed.

10:16That is the error. That is the folly. We at the Black Rebaptist Church have chosen to separate from that. Not because we think we're anything. My goodness, we think we're the least of church. If you came to the church, you'd find out quickly where as big a mess is anybody is. But it does not excuse us from giving in to that unrighteous seed that ungodly seed, those false seeds, that are producing absolutely no fruit. And my friend yet, the Word of God, this King James Bible has produced fruit in people's lives. It has borne fruit on the vine. It has borne all people's lives. They've been wrought of God, shaped by God, ministers of God. God has done a wonderful work through the Word of God. How dare we profane that? How could we turn our back on that? For the Lord, the God of Israel say it that He hated putting away. For one covered violence with His garment, say it the Lord of hosts. Therefore, take heed to your spirit that you deal not treacherously. The Lord hates that put in the way because they cover it up, they hide it.

11:19It's all sensual. It's all perverse. The man lives in adultery. He's not going to stay under Bible preaching. He's always in fornication. He's not going to stay under strong Bible preaching. They're going to flee. They're going to run. They're going to run to something that's easy, something that's gentle, something that's soft, something that's cute. They're not going to give themselves to rebuke, reprove, exhort, long suffering, and doctrine. They're not going to do that. Rather, they're going to teach themselves teachers having itch in ears. They're going to teach themselves somebody that's going to tell them what they want to hear, God forbid. But that's just where we are. If we have weary the Lord with your words, yet you say, where in have we wearyed him? When you say everyone that do with evil is good on the side of the Lord and he delighteth in them, or where is the God of judgment? That's what's going on today. They call evil good. They'll say, it doesn't matter what you've done, it doesn't matter where you've been, all you got to do is just say this little prayer. You get God off your back and people repeat the little prayer and one factor or another. I remember years ago, I heard him testify and his testimony was simply that he was kind

12:23of hooked on drugs a little bit and steroids and then he met this one guy and his guy was a real light to him and now he's living for God and that was really his testimony. No new birth, no work in a God and then he challenged all the young people there. Listen, if you've been lost and have been saved, won't you pray this prayer? You've got about 70 of them to pray and I had to be removed from the place. I had a friend of mine that literally physically took a hold of me and kind of pushed me out the doors because I began to holler. I began to say, don't do it, don't do it and that's a great offense to many of you, I'm sure. God forbid. You think that God is in to just repeat a little prayer from some guy that just tells you, oh God, just repeat this prayer, you'd be just like me, no repentance, no evidence of godliness, no holiness, no turning by faith, no turning to God, no resurrection from the dead. God forbid. God requires every bit of that and if it gets, if it sticks me in a place, right, I'm isolated, I'm the only one, I'm the nutcase, I'll be glad to die in nutcase. That's fine. Oh, Bob, I have a scriptures. I have the Bible that tells me what's right. I hold the King James Bible, it tells me the word of God instructs me except your repentant

13:24all like wise parish and that you must be born again. What must come to repent, his friend? They say everyone to see do with evil is good on the side of the Lord. That's where it is today. God's not looking at you like man looks at you and therefore evil people, drunkards come to the assembly of what they call churches today and it's okay that they're drunkards, it's okay that they're on drugs, it's okay that they're prostituting. It's not about, they say God just wants to forgive you, but if God forgives you, God doesn't leave you in the mess you're in. He's just going to sin no more and yet we have a degeneration today. They pray the prayer and continue in sin, God forbid. They pray the prayer and continue in fornication, God forbid. They pray the prayer and listen, they're in adulterous relationships and on godly relationships and they're drunkards and they're adulterous and they're covetous and idolaters, God forbid. He said the lightest in them, God does not delight in them, they say this where's the God of judgment? Well, the God of judgment's on his way and my friend you need to take heed to these things unless you fall short of the glory of God in that day.
