0:00Hey friends, welcome to Daily Family Bible, where we talk with our families about the Bible. So, who do we have on the show today? Today we have Benaya. Thank you so much for being here, Benaya. Do you happen to have a joke for us? Why did Star Wars episodes 4, 5, and 6 come before 1, 2, and 3? Why did Star Wars episodes 4, 5, and 6 come before 1, 2, and 3? I don't know. Because in charge of scheduling Yoda was. But Yoda, he's always talking backward, isn't he? Yeah. Okay. Alright, let's get to the Bible. What's our verse for today? Benaya, can you read Matthew chapter 28 verse 19 and 20? So you must go and make disciples of all nations.
1:02Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And you can be sure that I am always with you to the very end. Awesome reading. Thank you. Yeah, that is from Matthew 28. And in this chapter, Jesus is giving kind of his final orders to his disciples. And so he has his 11 disciples there. And he says, all authority in heaven and on earth have been given to me. And then you write in verse 19, he says, so you must go and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And you can be sure that I am with you always to the very end. And so Benaya, that gets me thinking about Jesus saying, go and make disciples. And I wonder what you think. What does that mean for us now to go and make disciples?
2:02Just point someone towards Jesus whenever you get the chance. Pretty simple? Yeah. Kind of. Kind of. Yeah, kind of. Kind of. Good job. That's awesome. All right. Now is the time in our show where you get to answer the question with your family. Okay, friends, what do you think? What do you think it means to make disciples?
