Major Fire at Dollar General in Creedmoor

The fire broke out Thursday evening at the location on 202 South Main Street. Thick black smoke poured from the building as captured in a photo sent in by a local viewer. Crews arrived quickly to battle the flames. Fire departments from Northern Wake and Durham County rushed in to help contain the fire. No one has reported any injuries so far. Officials have not released details on what sparked a blaze, or if anyone was inside at the time. The situation remains active.
